I enjoyed looking back on this past exercise. I would say my physical well-being is still
at a 9, although this week, being that I was ill, I put it at an 8. However, since my health is improving, I will
be back at the gym this week. I will be
keeping a journal of not only my exercises and the weight that I lift, but also
the food I am eating. I find that it is
the only way that I can hold myself accountable for my actions when it comes to
the physical aspect.
My spiritual level has dropped down to a 6 from the 7 that I
originally rated it. I would have liked
to do more meditation and Reiki; however, I never made the time. Life got very busy and a bit stressful with
the sale of my company and me being out of town for my other job that I just
didn’t find the time. I actually have
this week off from work, so I will be practicing my Reiki on my children and
pets. I think if I can re-activate it
that would put me in a better spiritual standing. It will not only help them, but it will help
me as well.
My psychological well-being is at an 8 from a 7. With this additional stress that I have been
feeling, I have been using my deep breathing techniques and mind-clearing (witnessing)
techniques. I would say that I have
definitely improved on my mental well-being.
I will continue to use these methods to help myself with anxiety and
stress.
I have enjoyed learning about these techniques in
class. I have also found that this class
reminded me of the importance of the different practices and how important it
is to improve my overall health. My eyes
have been opened to the concept of integral health and I hope that other
people, companies and healthcare organizations will see the importance as
well.
Through this particular education, I am able to, not only
understand myself better, but understand people a little bit better. I understand that if they have a reaction
about one particular thing, it is usually fueled by other issues. I feel that it has helped me grow as an
individual and will also help me to assist others in their growth. I will be taking away more practical
knowledge from this course than I have with any of the other ones that I have
taken.
I wish everyone the best in their future endeavors. Good luck!

Jean,
ReplyDeleteAn excellent summation about your health; what you’ve learned and the prospects of your future health and what knowledge you’ll be sharing with family and future people you help or work with.
With all of our health ratings I’ve noted an ebb and flow, up a point then down one or two. I’m with you in stating that life can get in the way and you have to juggle it and add things or healthy practices back into your schedule. I like that your utilizing journaling to keep track of your endeavors and keeping yourself on task with eating or exercising.
Good luck with your son and I hope that all that you have learned in the past few classes well help you to unlock or decode your sons needs so that you can help him to the best of your abilities. I suspect that you are already figuring this out and one day when he is older he will say thanks mom, job well done.
Best of luck with your future endeavors, I’m guessing its nice to have sold your business and being able to focus on moving forward with your current job and not have the stress of juggling both. Stay the course on your fitness and schooling and I know you well be a champion in health for yourself, family, and others by helping them with your own life's examples. Take care, and have wonderful up coming holidays.
