Unit 8 Blog

Hello everyone,

This week has been another difficult week with a bad flu virus running rampant throughout my household.  At least I have been spending more time with the kids, even though we have been doing nothing except trying to recover.

The healing modalities that I have found most helpful is meditation and visualization.  I have always been a huge proponent of visualization, but now I see and understand the full benefit of it.   I have even started a vision board that I need to get back to.   Meditation is another helpful tool.  I find that it really is beneficial in helping with relaxation.  I also use meditative breathing when I start to get stressed and anxious and it has made a world of difference.

I hope everyone else has benefitted from this class and I hope that we can continue on with these practices after the course is completed.

  1. Excellent BLOG Jean and very informative I agree with you on the two practices that you have determined to be most beneficial. Meditation and visualization, they both provide some ability to relax and help one concentrate on the mission at hand. Also both are great stress relievers too. Like going to your happy place. Great Job and good luck in the future.

  3. Hello Jean,

I am in total agreement with the two practices that you have chosen. I have found both exercises to be very beneficial to me along the road to recovery. Keep on continuing to implement the meditative as well as the visualization practices as the pathway to integral health.

  4. Like you visualization is very important for life because a vision can change so many things and when we visualize about goals and life in general it can help us get through the challenges that come our way. I also feel when we a better vision we then have a better life for ourselves and the ones we share it with.
